I wanted to make papier mache as transparent as possible, and the result is this light and resistant lampshade shape, created on an inflated balloon. Shape and size of the balloon determine the shape and size of the lampshade.
The lampshade is painted using acrylic ink and combined techniques such as collage and finished off with a layer of varnish protected from dust and humidity.
All of my lampshades are one of a kind and can be commissioned in different sizes (up to 35 cm wide).
